What do you want to be when you grow up?

I'm a kid at heart. Who says I have to grow up?

What do I want to be? At the core of my being, I want to be a published author. I want the ink of my words to drip down the pages of a book and seep into the souls of my readers.

What's stopping me? It is not the fear of rejection; It is the fear of vulnerability. My written words are the depths of my mind fleshed out into paper. Those who read my words are those who genuinely know me. What is more frightening than people knowing your innermost you?
